Clear terms for buying acoustic and PVC wall panels, accessories and lighting from Wall Panels Direct Bristol.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms cover acoustic wall panels, PVC wall panels, lighting and accessories sold by Carpets Direct (Bristol) Limited, trading as Wall Panels Direct Bristol. We use the same contact details as Carpets Direct Bristol: 2–4 Trinity Street, Old Market, Bristol, BS2 0NT; 0117 955 4327; info@carpetsdirectbristol.co.uk. The seller is Carpets Direct (Bristol) Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 07134215. Its registered office is 2–4 Trinity Street, St Philips, Bristol, BS2 0NT. Any independent installer and their separate terms are identified before booking. Nothing here reduces your statutory consumer rights.
2. Quotations, orders and payment
A website enquiry or calculator result is not an accepted order. We confirm the selected design, finish, quantity, availability, total price and payment arrangements before accepting an order. Please check the written confirmation. Pay for goods under the agreed payment schedule before collection or dispatch, unless a separate finance arrangement has been approved.
3. Prices and four-panel offers
Displayed panel prices include VAT. Delivery, accessories and independent fitting are additional unless expressly included in your quotation. Four-panel offers apply to four panels of the same selected design and finish unless we agree otherwise. Remaining panels are priced individually. Panels displayed at £30 each are offered at four for £100; The Shiny Slat design has Gold and Silver colour options with its own premium prices. The confirmed order price applies to your purchase.
4. Measurements and the calculator
The calculator gives an estimate using vertical panels and the dimensions entered. It counts covered sections separately, rounds up to whole panels and does not reuse offcuts or subtract openings. Check skirting boards, coving, sockets, corners and the actual area to be covered. Walls taller than a panel may need a join. Confirm measurements and a cutting plan with your installer before ordering.
5. Choosing panels, finishes and lighting
Confirm that your chosen product is suitable for the room, substrate and intended use. Images and screen colours are illustrative; ask to view a sample where available. Check finishes and batches before cutting or fitting. Acoustic panels do not guarantee soundproofing. Bathroom, wet-area, heat and fire suitability must be checked against the specific manufacturer’s instructions. Lighting components must be compatible; use a qualified electrician where required.
6. Delivery and collection
We agree delivery or collection arrangements and any charges with you before the order is placed. Tell us about access restrictions. Inspect goods on arrival and report damage, shortages or incorrect items promptly, with photographs where possible. Reporting promptly helps us investigate but does not remove your legal rights. Do not install damaged or incorrect goods; contact us first.
7. Independent fitting
Fitting is offered through independent third parties. We explain who is undertaking the work and who you contract with before booking. The installer confirms their scope, price, payment method and appointment terms separately. A panel purchase does not include installation unless stated. Questions about fitting should be raised with the installer; contact us too if you need help. We remain responsible for our own obligations and any liability the law does not allow us to exclude.
8. Site preparation and additional work
Agree wall preparation, furniture moving, removal of existing materials, electrical work, trims and waste disposal with the installer. Keep the work area accessible and tell them about hazards, damp or concealed services. Wall repairs, levelling, structural work and additional finishing are outside the panel price unless quoted. The installer must explain extra work and its cost for your agreement before proceeding.
9. Changing a fitting appointment
Contact the installer as soon as possible to rearrange or cancel. Any notice period and reasonable cancellation charge must be explained when booking. This does not override a statutory right to cancel. If work is requested during a statutory cancellation period, the required consent and any proportionate charge for work actually supplied must be explained first.
10. Cancelling a distance order
For eligible consumer orders agreed online, by phone or away from our premises, you normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to tell us you wish to cancel, then another 14 days to return them. Notify us by email or post using the contact details above. We confirm return arrangements and who pays return carriage before purchase. Bespoke goods made to your specifications may be exempt; this must be explained before ordering. A standard item is not automatically exempt simply because it is specially ordered.
11. Refunds and change-of-mind returns
For a statutory cancellation, refunds include standard outward delivery and are made within the applicable legal time limit. We may withhold reimbursement until goods or evidence of return are received. Any lawful deduction for handling beyond what is needed to inspect the goods will be explained; no restocking fee applies to a statutory cancellation. For an in-store change of mind, contact us to discuss any discretionary return before bringing goods back.
12. Faulty goods and warranties
Goods must meet the standards required by consumer law. Contact us if goods are faulty, not as described or unsuitable for an agreed purpose. We will deal with the issue under your applicable rights to rejection, repair, replacement or refund. A manufacturer’s warranty adds to those rights. Cutting or fitting goods does not automatically remove your rights where the goods were faulty.
13. Buy Now, Pay Later
Wall panels can be offered on BNPL with a further purchase from Carpets Direct Bristol. Terms apply. Availability, eligibility, the finance provider, payment schedule and full terms are confirmed before any agreement is made. An enquiry does not guarantee approval or a particular finance plan.
14. Delays and changes
If supply or an agreed arrangement is delayed, we will explain the situation and discuss the available options. Events beyond reasonable control may affect timing, but do not remove your statutory remedies. Changes to these website terms apply to future orders; they do not retrospectively change an accepted order without agreement.
15. Complaints, liability and resolving concerns
Email info@carpetsdirectbristol.co.uk with your order details, a description of the problem, relevant photographs and the outcome you seek. We aim to resolve concerns fairly. No term excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not restrict your right to seek independent advice or use the courts.
